Japanese Retro Video Games

So what console looks best and what is the worst? I have to say i always likes the look of the Mega Drive 1. At the time it looked fantastic against the competition, especially against Nintendo consoles outside of Japan. I would dsay the ugliest console is the Gamecube with also came in some awfull colours.

Best looking: Mega Drive 1 (JP, PAL one is horrible), Dreamcast, Super Famicom, Mark III, PC Engine, Neo-Geo AES

Worst Looking: PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Amiga CD32, Turbografx 16, Atari Jaguar

Another vote for the Japanese Model 1 Megadrive, looks amazing (I really need to get one, hopefully you can get me a boxed model 1 next year Steve) . I also like the look of the Dreamcast, saturn & N64 (although I dislike the N64 game library except for a few games.)

Worst looking for me is the NES (the butt-ugly pal & US brick version), playstation 2 (fat) & atari lynx (model 1)

The Neo Geo AES is the best looking IMHO. It's hard to believe it's 20 years old now!?! Timeless design.

As for the worst...the Atari 5200 maybe, the sheer size of it was riduculous. The Atari Jaguar CD with memory cart inserted really does look like a futuristic toilet too.
