I have been looking at sales over the past 12 months and have seen a larger the anticipated sales in cart only games and also games not in great condition, but working and of course really cheap. I am now listing more of these types of items and of course the usual stuff as well. On eBay my top sellers are DC and SS, but on here it is about equal with SS,DC, NES, SNES , PCE and MD. I think it may be best to increase the selection of these as on eBay many really cheap items are not worth listing due to the high listing and end of item fees. What do you think?

To me, it matters little if a cd game has a few scratches as long as it is fully working. I am not so much a collector as I am a gamer.

I think that with some cd's being 15 years old a few scratches are almost a given. If this also lowers the price then it is a bonus.

As a collector more than a gamer (being married with kids takes alot of my gaming away lol) I think the opposite, if you start to sell 'loose' and scratched items then this will give you a reputation of 'cheap' and cheerful, if this is the image you want then great, if not tread carefully. Anyone can sell dross and make nothing, but finding and selling complete games in great condition (like you do) is a little tougher but more rewarding and generally more profitable, and gives you a better rep.

Thanks for feedback chaps. I have to tread a fine line between being a bargain basement store and a high quality outlet. I am having probably equal success with new/ high er quality stuff and cheap and working stuff. There will be a more diverse selection , especailly with old carts. These will usually be in decent condition and for older games it is sometimes the better option to buy cart only due to high prices chearged by Japanese gaming stores.

Of course the reputation of providing decent items is needed, but i think if i am hinest with description ten i will not lose custom, unless of course i lower the standards of item description. There will also be more listings in the accessory and console sections shortly with some nice quality items already bought and ready to go up.

If people know they're getting a less than perfect condition game for a little less money I think most gamers would be happy with that.  I would be at any rate.  Any chance of more Neo Geo CD and AES titles?

AES and NGCD are getting hard to find at a decent price, except for a handull of titles. I sell my AES up to now always on eBay, but if there was enough demand, then i would consider listing some here. Usually i will list a lot of the same games if i can find a cheap outlet that is why i have recently added quite a lot of MD and old Nintendo titles to the store.

I wasn't sure how rare Neo titles were in Japan or if it was just that they didn't make it over to the west that often.

Looks like the next thing will be posters. I wanted to also put on eBay, but the max shipping fee of 2 GBP means i will lose on shipping which is something i am no longer prepared to do anymore as fees become ridiculous.

The latest develipment is to list a large amount of retro classics. Recently have bought large amounts of retro stock which are now being tested, prices and listed in the store.I am aiming to increase item numbers in teh webstore by 20-30% by Xmas. The listings have already begun. More develipements later.

New category added "Bargain Bundles", offering multiple games at a special discounted price. Seems quite popular already.

The bargain bundles are doing excellent sales and will stay on the site and many more shall be listed. Due to eBays latest changes (fee increases and P+P caps), AES, consoles, accessories and heavier items will from now  only be sold from this site. More ideas and thoughts for the site will follow.
